RV GeoLoc Student Resources
Here are some references and links that will come in handy when using GeoLoc:
Maptools.com - If you are using USGS or other maps that use UTM/GRMS and LAT/LON you will definately want to check out the coordinate plotting tools available at MapTools. We suggest the Explorer Map Tool Set as it has almost every map ruler you would ever find yourself using.
USGS Store - Here is a link to the USGS store where you can download USGS map grids in PDF format and print them out or buy them and have them shipped to you. Click here to access the Map Locator tool.
Google Earth - We like to use Google Earth when possible as it is super easy to use and provides rich detail of the terrain and street level views when you need to see the details of the area to confirm your RV sketches!
